Brussels, 16 October 2008 - Renwick Rose represented the ACP regional producer’s organisations during the Brussels Briefings on ‘Rising food prices: an opportunity for change?’. In his view, to deal effectively with food crises, and agriculture and rural development in general, it is crucial to involvem the farmers' associations. In addition to that, it's also important to see rural development in all its totality, hence dealing with the issues of infrastructures and the development of regional and local markets.
